Okay so this weekend was pretty awesome. :)

On Friday, I went to Centrum (twice) and went out for lunch at Boston Pizza with my mum and sister so that was fun. I can’t really remember what else I did because it’s too long ago now.

On Saturday, I went to this wonky Air Cadet thingy at the Hull Armoury, with Maddy, Maddie, and our friends from AC: Kristen, Ginny, Inez, Doyle, and Christian Andre Wenceslas Marie Korwin Potworoski. (Probably didn’t spell that right, but he has four middle names!) I was in Group Four, with Maddy, Potworowski, and Inez. We made a cheer about Katz and Hatz, but we didn’t win, which was sad because we were amazing. And so we did random Air Cadet related stuff and I learnt the phonetic alphabet. (Alpha, brave, charlie, delta, echo, foxtrot, golf, hotel, india, juliet, kilo, lima, mike, november, oscar, papa, quebec, romeo, sierra, tango, uniform, victor, whiskey, x-ray, yankee, zulu.) I am soo cool. Only I was sad because I didn’t get to do range because I’ve done it once before and there wasn’t enough time. And there was like a firedrill so yeah it was cold outside.

After the AC thing, Maddy came to my house for dinner with her family, and we decided to join Facebook. So yeah now I am on it. Except I set my privacy settings so that the teachers can’t stalk me. Because that is just creepy. I have 25 friends in two days!!! YAAY!

Sunday, I saw the movie Valentine’s Day with Maddie, Maddy and Kirstin. It was okay, I guess. I also hung out with my friend Clare, because she’s going to the Olypics next friday so I won’t see her for like two weeks.

Today was definately the bestest because I went skiing at Mont Tremblant, with my daddy and sister. It’s so fun because we get up at 5, drive for two hours, go to Tim Hortons, ski for a few hours, eat lunch, ski more, and then go to Tim Horton’s again, before driving home. And then we eat dinner latish and have frozen pizza. It’s our family Tremblant tradition. Usually, we go to the same retaurant and get burgers, Veggie for me. But last time I ate one of their veggie burgers, I threw up on the hill. It was actually kind of funny, except my dad wouldn’t let me have another veggie burger today, even though I wasn’t sick because of it. So I had Ceasar salad and garlic bread, instead. Except the skiing wasn’t that great today, even though the snow conditions were great, because my bindings were all loose and it was really annoying because I was scared that my skis were going to pop off, because I like to do mogals and jumps and stuff, so yeah. It’s cuz my daddy does the bindings himself, instead of going to like Tommy & Levebre or somewhere. The same thing happened last year at Tremblant, and the ski kept just falling off and so I fell over alot, and usually I don’t fall, even though we do lots of black/double blacks. Except I was fine today because it was only in the afternoon that it was bad so we just did easy ones (aka blacks) then.

After reading the article on http://mashable.com/2010/01/23/napping-ttc-twitpic/, I can kind of see both sides of the arguement. I mean, the poor TTC worker had his privacy invaded and must have suffered a huge ammount of embarrassment and riducule, and possibly even lost his job. And the Twitter dude who posted it had absolutely no right to do that, in my opinion. Like, who goes around taking embarrassing pictures of strangers and posting them on the internet without the permission of the victim? In answer to the questions on http://www.8cwejps.com , the Twitter user, who’s name is apparently Jason Weiler, was not at all being responsible with his actions. And the article said that TTC users were complaining about how it’s their money going to his salary, but like, does that matter? That was probably just the only time that he fell asleep, and I’ll bet anything that there’s some kind of backup story to his side, but nobody is paying attention to him. So I’m on his side because Jason Weiler is an invading jerk and the public of Toronto are whiny hypocrites.

It doesn’t work. I am very sad. My sister had it for around 2 years, gave it to me, and in two weeks, I lost it twice and put it through the washing machine. My parents might get me a new one, but only if I pay for about half. I think I will. But the problem is, you can’t buy the older version of the nano anymore, and that’s the type  like. The new ones are all ugly and the old ones have wider screens so I like it. I think I’ll look on Kajiji, or Used Ottawa, or whatever it is. I just looked, from the school computers, and I found a nano on Kijiji for $140 and it comes with some cases. I think I’ll get it.

Tearless Goodbye

So my band, The Troll Bridge, has two more songs recorded! Claustrophobic is the better version of the one on Youtube, and Tearless Goodbye is about Doyle. So please listen to them! And we are coming up with a dance song soon as well as recording a song we have written, called Forgive and Forget. Btw, I had to delete Claustorphobic because we are such losers and forgot that the metronome was still on so I’ll upload the good version sometime later, but it’s saved on Maddy’s comp so yeah I can’t right now.

Band Members:

Bass: Holly

Guitar: Maddy

Vocals: Maddie

From reading the title, you probably think I’m very, like, self-concious. But I’m not. Because I rock, and I’m pretty and smart and usually very confident and cocky. But, seriously, after you read this, you will agree. If you don’t, then maybe you should get your brain checked out.

Firstly, the other day, I put my new iPod through the washing machine. I only got it, like less than a month ago for Christmas, and I killed it already. But my mum looked it up on Google, and if you just leave them for like a week, then they should dry out and be fine. And plus, like two years ago, I put my shuffle through the wash, and it was fine after a while. So yeah, and my headphones still work because I checked them using my sisters iPod and they were fine.

And today, I was ironing on some logos to some shirts for my band, The Troll Bridge. We had those papers that you iron on and we bought three shirts to do it with. But, then, we decided to make two white test shirts, which we planned to give to Alex Gilmore and Kiera, if they turned out good. And all I can say, is thank god that we had those extra shirts. My t-shirt, which was dark green, did not turn out good. It only half ironed on and got all screwed up. And if this wasn’t a school blog, then I would be swearing right now. Maddy’s shirt was dark blue, and the design hardly even showed up because it was way too light. And Maddie  light purple one worked fine, but the background was pink, because it was purple so yeah. Hers was probably the best out of the three. So, now Kiera and Alex won’t get shirst (sorrys guys!) because we’re just going to have the testers.

And now I am trying to cheer myself up by listening to wrock, but it is only making me more sad because it’s all depressing about people who died or breakups or something. I guess I should just go to bed now, because I am very tired. Or maybe I’ll burn some CD’s. Yes. I tink I shall burn a CD about Harry Potter, or write a fanfic.

A-buh-bye now!

So yesterday was my family’s 11th aniversary of living in Canada. Last year we had a party for 10 years.

My dumb cat, Braveheart, is going senial. He eats until he is pukes, and then my dog eats it. Last week he peed on my sisters sweater. And yesterday, he took a dump just outside my room. And I had to clean it up. He is soo stupid. And fat. So we’re putting him on a diet and trying to make sure he doesn’t eat too much, which is hard, because we have another cat, Sweetheart, who is really skinny, and they share a food bowl.

On Friday night, the Titantic movie was on TV so I started to watch it, but it was already halfway though. So yesterday, when we were at Walmart, my daddy bought it for me. And I watched it with my friends Clare and Lauren and it was AMAZING. It was kinda funny though because we kept on waiting for Jack to die, because you kn0w that Rose survives because the whole story is a flashback from when she is 101. It was really sad. I think I’m going to make a Youtube video of it. Only it was really gross because they do not blur/sensor anything and there’s this scene where he draws her naked and it was very disturbing.

And yesterday the movie “Love Actually” was on so we started watching it. It has soo many famous people in it, like Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightly and… <insurt drum roll here> ALAN RICKMAN!!!!! (For those of you who don’t know, he plays Snape in HP!!!) It was so wonkey to see him wearing a suit, and not black robes. And his hair was brown, turning grey so yeah it wasn’t black and it was strange. And the movie was from 2003, and the first HP came out in 2001, so they would have been working on either the second or third movie at that point so yeah it was funny. And my sister kept getting annoyed at me for singing “Snape, Snape, Severus Snape, DUMBLEDORE!” whenever he came on.

I went skiing today, at Cascades. It was really fun except the conditions were horrible because there were these gigantic icy patches because the wind was just blowing the snow everywhere. My sister and my dad found it cold, except I didn’t because they are wussies and I am tough. I’m going to learn to snowboard better this year too becuase my daddy says if I get good then next year he’ll buy me a board. I can board okay, and go up lifts and stuff, but I have to stick to the green runs and I fall down a lot. I’m going to snowboard on the school ski days this year because Calobogie is really easy for me on skis because I am soo good. And plus, snowboarding looks way cooler so yeah.

And OMG I bought this awesome Harry Potter calendar of the Half-Blood Prince movie and yeah it is sooo AWESOME. Except it’s kind of dumb because they gave Fenrir Greyback and Lavendar Brown their own pictures, and they aren’t even that important, and they didn’t give Snape one!!! So I am mad now. And I also bought this mini HP calendar with pictures from all the movies to put in my locker. YAAAY!!!!!

And also, Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy, might be in Eclipse, the next Twilight movie, as some gay vampire called Riley. I hate Twilight. It is so pointless. It would ruin Tom’s image as a bad guy wizard, if he was some dumb sparkling vampire. I will cry if he is in it.

Okay, now this has just become a giant rant about Harry Potter. Why do I always do that? Oh, well. Might as well continue. I found this cool new wrock band on youtube called “Lets Lumos!” they are really good. Btw, wrock means wizard rock. It is basically just fans who make bands and sing about stuff from HP but some of them, like Ministry of Magic, Thw Whomping Willows, and Lets Lumos! are really good. Like, they actually know how to sing and write songs and play their instruments.

School starts again tomorrow. Torture. I think I’ll start counting down the days until March Break. Atleast I have some nice new clothes to wear. I bought this purple shirt from Stitches and it has one of those long necked green herbivore dinosaurs on it and there are carrots and stuff and then it says “vegetarian.” on it and it’s soo cool! I just had to have it when I saw it.

I went to a formal ball on Wednesday and it sucked. The music was dumb. I didn’t know many people. The food was expensive. There were lesbians making out and I am not joking. It was creepy. I have nothing against gay and lesbian people, but they were like slow dancing to fast songs and kissing and stuff and it was really awkward. And this creepy guy, Mario, kept asking me and my friends to dance and it was scary. There were like the three of us, me, and my friends Kristen, and Virginia, and we were really bored and we didn’t know anybody except for a few older people who we vaguely recognized. So yeah we ended up calling Kristen’s mum and getting her to pick us up an hour earlier than planned, at 10:30 instead of 11:30. We only stayed that late because the raffle draw was at 10 so yeah. Atleast I looked pretty though. The picture above is me just before I left. I wore three inch heels and it was awesome. My dress is from Tesco’s, which is, a.. umm, Brittish designer… Not a supermarket. A posh designer. And I put blue streaks in my hair but they didn;t show up in the picture very well so yeah.

So yeah my cousins are finally here. They are asleep in my bedroom right now, so yeah. We took the dog, Chloe, for a walk with Zoe and Saskia in the dark and they LOVED it. They were so cute, because they obviously don’t get alot of snow in England so yeah. And then we played on the Wii with them for a while.

And, also, I went to the orthodontist earlier and I might get my braces off in about 6 weeks!!! YAAAY!!! So yeah I really hope I can get them off cuz I hate having braces.

And it is officially winter now!!! Yesterday was winter solstice or however you spell it. So yeah and merry Christmas everyone!!!

I finished my video of Tom Felton, so I just put that on Youtube. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28i2pZrveHU So I’m going to make a video of the clips I got from “So You Think You Can Dance” and put that on Youtube too. Random.

And I dressed up all Christmassy today. I’m wearing a green top and red arm guards (but not because I cut myself. They’re just pretty.). And my nails are red, and even my hair has red streaks in it! So yeah I look so cool. Except now, because I look kinda funny. Lol, Maddie, I look like SLH. SLH is a character from our Christmas movie that Mrs. Smith won’t let the class watch. Which I completely do not understand, because it is not inappropriate. At all. Except for maybe some language, and the fight scene with plastic swords. But it’s so fake that it’s hilarious.

Anyways, this post was not supposed to be a rant about our amazing movies. My cousins are here in two days!!! And Christmas is in five!!! So yeah. I’m so excited.

Wow, I have alot to write right now. So much is going on.

First: I went to So You Think You Can Dance on tour at the Scotia Bank Place, with Maddie! My dads work, Wilan, can get free tickets because they have a box, so we went. And my other friend Lauren was there too because her dad works with mine. It was sooo much fun. And the three of us screamed alot so yeah and people kept looking at us funny. Only it was sad, because my camera ran our of batteries halfway through so I couldn’t film it. Even though you aren’t allowed, but screw the rules. So yeah I’m going to make a youtube video of it, so I’ll post a link when I’m done. Anyways, it was pretty awsome. So yeah that was yesterday evening.

And today, I set up the Christmas tree with my sister and then we went to Centrum with our friend Brian, who I haven’t seen in like ages. So that was fun. We saw the movie “Invictus” and it’s about a South African rugby team when Nelson Mandela was President. It was a good movie, but I didn’t really understand it. But, oh well, because I never understand movies the first time. Oh yeah, and I bought some temporary red hair dye stuff, so I put some random red streacks in my hair. It’s not the same as last time, because it just washes out after one wash, so it’s completely temporary. And my sisters friend Moriah came with us, and she went our with Brian ages ago, and now they like eachother again… And tonight I’m babysitting, so I should get alot of money. :)

And on Wednesday, at Air Cadets, my friend Matt asked me to go to the formal ball with him on the 30th, so I was like “Sure, why not?” so I’m really looking forward to that so yeah. And I got my nerdy uniform. Only the shoes are made out of leather, so I’m not going to wear them. I’m on strike. And yeah so I’m going to post some pictures of me in my uniform some time soon.

And on Tuesday, my cousins are coming!!! They are called Zoe and Saskia, and they live in England. Zoe is nine and Saskia is 7, but her birthday is on boxing day so yeah she’ll turn 8 here! And I cannot wait because they are sooo cute and we’re going to teach them how to ski and everything so yeah.

So yeah and I’m working on a video of Tom Felton, to put on Youtube. That was kinda random but oh well. I says “So yeah” alot. Oh well.

I love my life. And i’m not emo, just incase anybody was concerned for me.
